The Commerce discipline has 70 training slots, while other graduate disciplines include BBA, BCA, B.Sc. Computer Science, Chemistry, Geology, Microbiology, Nursing and B.Pharm.
Eligibility for B.Com Candidates
Candidates applying for the Commerce Graduate Apprentice position are required to possess a regular, full-time B.Com degree from a recognised/UGC-approved university, subject to the conditions specified in the notification.
The current notification specifies that graduate candidates should have passed their qualifying degree in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.
Candidates must also have completed 18 years of age on or before 31 October 2026. The notification does not prescribe an upper age limit for this apprenticeship.
Important State Eligibility
One of the most important conditions for applicants is that the apprenticeship is open to candidates hailing from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Therefore, B.Com graduates from other states should carefully check the domicile/state eligibility condition before applying.
Stipend
Selected Graduate Apprentices in Commerce will receive a monthly stipend of ₹14,174 during the 12-month apprenticeship period.

Selection Process
There is no written examination for the Graduate Apprentice selection.

The tentative schedule indicates that the Graduate Apprentice selection list may be displayed on 25 November 2026, with joining tentatively scheduled for 2 December 2026.
Training Duration
The apprenticeship training will be for 12 months.
Candidates should note that completion of apprenticeship training does not create a right to permanent or temporary employment in NLC India Limited. It is primarily a structured training opportunity designed to provide practical industrial exposure.
