Why CA and CMA professionals should consider this opportunity

The PSERC Director/Finance position represents a different career pathway from conventional corporate finance roles. It combines financial management with electricity-sector regulation, making it relevant to senior professionals interested in public-sector institutions, regulatory bodies and the financial aspects of the power sector.

For experienced CA and CMA professionals, the role can be particularly relevant where their career background includes financial management, cost analysis, tariff-related work, government/PSU assignments or exposure to regulated industries.

However, candidates should carefully examine the qualifying-service requirements before applying. Merely holding a CA or CMA qualification does not by itself satisfy all eligibility conditions for this senior position.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates should download the prescribed application proforma from the official PSERC recruitment notice, complete the application and submit it with the required supporting documents to the Secretary, Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission by 11 November 2026.

Candidates should carefully verify the official notification for the applicable mode of submission, deputation/contract conditions and documentation requirements before sending their application.
